It is only a matter of time that Suorin will release an updated version of one of their most celebrated pod systems, the Suorin Air. The Suorin Air Plus will be the third generation of this highly regarded Air pod system, which means it is definitely worthy of taking a closer look to learn how Suorin plans to enhance your vaping experience with this exciting new overhaul.
How Does The Suorin Air Plus Pod System Compare To The Suorin Air V2 Pod System?
Our excitement for the release of Suorin's latest edition of the Air simply cannot be quelled.
Granted pod systems are meant to be very basic and there isn't really any kind of major breakthroughs as far as technology or design that would infer a major breakthrough in the vaping industry.
However, the fact that the Suorin V2 has been so entirely successful in the way of system dependability concerning longevity, vapor production, flavor and hit satisfaction, means that Suorin understands what it means to deliver what is truly vital to a meaningful vaping experience.
That being said, let's examine the specific details like the build, battery capacity, coil resistance and pod size. This way you will know exactly what to look forward to when Suorin finally releases the Air Plus Pod System.
The Air Plus VS the Air V2
The build of the Suorin Air Plus remains compact such as the Air V2, but its measurements are naturally slightly larger. Side by side there does not appear to be much difference, but it's easily noticeable by the difference in the general overall appearance of the Air Plus.
The Air Plus measures at 93.3 x 50 x 10mm, whereas the Air V2 is 86 x 43 x 8mm.
By the measurement comparison, you can see that the Air Plus is not quite as small, but not much larger in length, width or thickness either. This means that Suorin has kept portability and lightweightedness in mind for their users.
As far a durability, only time will tell for the Air Plus. But if the Air V2 can give us any indication of durability, we can only surmise that the Air Plus will be dependable for the long term, if not more so due to the other upgrades to the system.
The Suorin Air Plus Battery
The Suorin Air V2 has a 400mAh battery, which at the time of its release was great and depending on your vaping habits, it could last for a day or two. But like all technology, many pod systems have far exceeded this battery size, while still maintaining a portable and lightweight vape system.
Now Suorin has more than doubled the battery size for the Air Plus by adding a 930mAh battery. This capacity battery is not the most any pod system has seen, but it is still mighty impressive due to the fact that the Suorin Air Plus is only just slightly larger in all its dimensions than its predecessor.
Suorin has also increased the wattage output from 16W on the Air V2 to 22W on the Suorin Air Plus. This will no doubt assist in a faster ramp up time heating the e-liquid nicely so that it will also offer a nice warm, flavorful and hard hitting puff. Albeit this may decrease battery longevity for those of you who may have a tendency to chain vape throughout the day, but certainly this battery capacity will no doubt last you all day, if not a few days.
The Suorin Air V2 only had one LED to indicate on-draw use and battery life. The Suorin Air Plus will have 5 LED's vertically stacked on the side of the device. Each one will light up according to the equivalent of the power remaining. When you have full power, all 5 LEDs will light up until power dwindles to the very last LED that signifies 20% battery life or less.
Another great progression of technology that shows that Suorin is anticipating technological trends is the switch to USB-C quick charging technology. Suorin successfully added a USB-C to their other recently pod device, the Suorin Edge. Where many companies are sticking to the conventional micro USB charging system, Suorin charges ahead with the likes of monster tech companies like Apple and Google.
Air Plus Pod System E-Liquid Capacity
One of the biggest qualms with the original Suorin Air and the Suorin Air V2 was that the pod did not accommodate enough e-liquid and the need for constant refilling was a hassle. When the Suorin Air was released, the pod could only accommodate 1.2 ml. This was quickly increased to 2ml when the Suorin Air V2 was released.
Suorin has now increased the e-liquid capacity in the Air Plus pod to 3.5ml. With this significant increase, frequent refills will not be necessary and vaping throughout the day will be made easier.
The Suorin Air Plus Pods are still designed to slide into and out of the device with ease. Suorin also added a feature they refer to as a baffle that is located at the base of the pod that is meant to decrease and/or avoid spillage onto the contact points. But, we can only wait to see how well this addition to the pod will operate.
Coil Resistance
The third generation of the Suorin Air will now grant you the opportunity of choice when it comes to coil resistance! The Suorin Air V2 Pod was only made with a 1.2Ω coil that was best for salt nic juice. But now with the Suorin Air Plus Pods you will have a choice of coil resistance with a 0.7Ω option best for sub-ohm like vaping or a 1.0Ω coil resistance for those who prefer the best nic salts for all day satisfaction.
What Type Of E-Liquid Is Best For The Suorin Air Plus Pod?
Suorin Air pods have always been great in that they work well with the best nic salts from SaltNic E-liquids like Tropical Mango, Mighty Mint or Summer Strawberry. VGOD Saltnic E-liquids are great too for the Suorin Air Plus such as Cubano, Lush Ice, or Iced Mango Bomb Saltnic.
But, if salt nic based e-liquid isn't your jam and you prefer regular e-juice, you can still make good use of the Suorin Air Plus Pod System. With the large fill ports on the Suorin Air Plus Pod, you can use a multitude of differing e-juice bottles, so you can enjoy VGOD Cubano, Luscious, Lush Ice or any of your favorite VGOD freebase e-juices.
What The Future Will Bring
Suorin as always is keeping the look of the Air Plus classy and respectable for those who prefer a more subtle professional look. The Sourin Air Plus Pod System Kit will be released in 8 colors: Black, Silver, Red, Teal Blue, Gold, Mulberry, Diamond Blue and GunMetal.
This third generation Sourin Air Plus Pod Kit is set to impress all Sourin Air enthusiasts with all the great enhancements to the system like higher wattage, coil resistance choices, larger e-liquid and battery capacity, and quick charging with USB-C technology.
And with all these upgrades, the Suorin Air is still lightweight, easy to pocket and will without a doubt grant you all day satisfaction with your favorite flavored nic salt e-liquid or freebase e-juice.
The estimated release of the Suorin Air Plus Kit is sometime in late June, which is real soon! So prepare for the next best Suorin Air Pod System because you're not going to want to miss out on this!
